The Contract-Pricing Analyst is responsible for implementation and maintenance of contracts in contracts module of ERP. Ensures hospital contract compliance with Purchasing Policy. Maintains contract compliance through data analysis and analytics. Responsible for agreement for supplies, services and equipment, as well as capital. Participates in obtaining optimal pricing and terms for the hospital. Monitors critical data systems for buying, price parity and contracts. Performs special projects as assigned. The Contracts-Pricing Analyst is responsible for comparative financial analysis; design and generation of reports San Antonio Regional Hospital Supply Chain; and identification of opportunities for cost reduction. He or she will be able to analyze data, interpret results, and effectively present key findings. Through proficient knowledge of the ERP materials management module, MS Excel, SARH and GPO agreements, the individual in this position is responsible for maintaining the integrity, consistency and availability of decision support tools. In addition, he or she will provide fact based contracts and pricing guidance to the organization.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field preferred
Experience: Experience with providing financial analysis, budgeting, bench marking and decision support systems. Working knowledge of the operational component of financial measures and financial performance and analysis in a complex organization. Experience and knowledge of current financial and non-financial measures utilized in the healthcare industry preferred.
