JOB SUMMARY
The CNA functions as an assistant to the Registered Nurse and/or LVN. Under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, the CNA provides basic nursing services including data collection, assistance with ambulation, toileting, transportation and housekeeping duties to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients in cooperation with the health care team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Relevant experience assisting with activities of daily living such as providing basic nursing personal care services such as patient hygiene, grooming while assisting the nursing staff preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and manage/prioritized/complete work assignments and other duties as assigned. Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
License and Certifications: Current California CNA certificate. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card required.
Equipment: None.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$23.00 - $31.82

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
