JOB SUMMARY

Provide competent and professional physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Associate Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant or has training and experience considered equivalent to that obtained in an approved Physical Therapy Assistant school (as outlined in the California Code of Regulations 1398.26.1).   

Experience:  Experience/clinical affiliation in an out-patient or acute care setting preferable.

Knowledge and Skills:  Must be able to function as a team member and have strong organizational skills.

License and Certifications:  Valid license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of California.   American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certified.

Equipment:   None.

Physical Requirements:  Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

PAY RANGE

$27.82 - $41.74

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
