JOB SUMMARY

In addition to performing all the functions of a Cardiology Technician, the Cardiology Supervisor provides direct supervision of EKG Technicians on the respective shifts, and coordinates functions and activities in the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:  At least one (1) year of previous Cardiology Technician experience in an acute hospital or healthcare field in related work.  Supervisory experience preferred.   

Knowledge and Skills:  In addition to the requirements for Cardiology Technician, the Cardiology Supervisor will demonstrate leadership abilities and possess strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

License/Certifications:  American Heart Association (AHA) BLS.

Equipment:  EKG and stress testing equipment.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

PAY RANGE

$23.40 - $35.10

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
