JOB SUMMARY

Increase knowledge of nursing practice through on the job training while working at an appropriate level.

Must be enrolled in Chaffey College or Mt. SAC Nursing Program

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  Completion of the first year of a professional nursing school 2-year program or completion of the third year of a professional nursing school 4-year program. The nursing school must have a completed contract agreement with San Antonio Regional Hospital.

Experience:  Will provide nursing care up to the level, which the student nurse has been taught in the professional nursing school program.

Knowledge and Skills:   Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Will utilize skills and perform procedures that have previously been taught in the professional nursing school program.. 

License/Certifications:   Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card required.

Equipment:   Computer

Physical Requirements:   Must be able to perform the essential physical job requirements.

PAY RANGE

$17.00 - $24.83

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
