JOB SUMMARY
Performs phlebotomy in skilled nursing facilities and home-bound patients. Delivers supplies and reports to physician offices, and transports patient specimens to the main hospital lab.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year previous venipuncture experience in an acute hospital or healthcare field in related work.
Knowledge and Skills: Employee must demonstrate age specific competencies for the specific work area in which the employee works and cares for patients.
License/Certifications: State-approved phlebotomy certificate. Valid California driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance. Must have the ability to provide own basic transportation when needed.
Equipment: Equipment related to the drawing of blood specimens, automobile.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$21.00 - $29.12

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
