JOB SUMMARY
This is a bedside LVN position in a community-based acute care, not-for-profit hospital. As the primary point of contact between the patient and the world of health care, the nurse enjoys the frequent interaction with the patient by utilizing hourly rounding and the implementation of patient care to achieve safe and effective care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: See Licenses and Certifications.
Experience: None.
Knowledge and Skills: Able to work in a fast-paced environment; and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and other duties, as assigned. Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
License/Certifications: Currently licensed to practice vocational nursing in the state of California. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card. For NSY, NRP is required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire/transfer.
Equipment: None.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$25.83 - $38.75
The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
