JOB SUMMARY
This position manages the hospital’s community health programming, collaborating with community agencies and organizations on community health improvement programs and activities. This includes developing and managing community events. Responsibilities include preparing reports and documents related to the hospital’s state and federal community benefit reporting requirements. This position actively collaborates with cities, schools, and other community organizations engaged in community health improvement. This position supervises interns supporting the various community programs onsite and in the community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Master’s degree in health, social work, education, business, or other related discipline is required.
Experience: Two years of experience in organizing and executing complex projects, preferably in a healthcare setting. This requirement may be met through a combination of professional, educational, and community service experience.
Knowledge and Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish are required. The individual must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with hospital departments and outside organizations. Computer literacy required. Attention to detail is essential. The individual must possess the ability to think creatively, work independently, be action oriented, and a strong collaborator.
License/Certifications: Valid driver's license

PAY RANGE
$32.00 - $44.94
The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
