Overview

JOB SUMMARY

Provides event planning, coordination, and supports all fund development programs for the Foundation.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:  Bachelor’s degree preferred and related experience required.

 

Experience:  Three to five years fundraising and/or special event experience preferred with an understanding and knowledge of the Hospital environment and the community.

 

Knowledge and Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage, prioritize and complete work assignments independently,  well organized with multi-tasking skills.  Able to handle stress and remain calm.  Able to take initiative and exercise good judgment and discretion, with problem solving ability.  Must maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.  Must be computer literate, skilled in MS Office.  Must have familiarity with graphic design programs.  Must be able to learn donor database and giving platforms.

 

License/Certifications:  Valid CA drivers license.

 

Equipment:  General office equipment.

 

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

 

PAY RANGE

$32.00 - $37.80

 

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
