POSITION SUMMARY

Directs all pharmacy services.  Responsible for all staffing and business support of the services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or Masters degree in Management.

Experience:  Three years’ experience in supervision at this hospital, or as an assistant director or director at another hospital pharmacy.

Knowledge and Skills:  Knowledge of medication systems used in hospitals.  Demonstrated knowledge and skills in administration and leadership, employee relations, communications, management of fiscal resources, and legislation affecting the field of pharmacy.

License and Certifications:   Current, valid Pharmacist license to practice pharmacy in the state of California.  

Equipment:  Computer.

Physical Requirements:  Able to perform the essential physical duties as noted on the job description.

PAY RANGE

$67.66 - $101.50

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
